Changes to the HC-One Senior TeamAfter three years as Chief Executive Officer Justin Hutchens has decided to return to the United States to take up new opportunities closer to home in a post in healthcare-related finance and investment - details of which he will confirm publicly in due course.

As a result of Justin’s return to the US, HC-One has reorganised its senior team to ensure continuity to deliver the existing business plan agreed by the HC-One Board - a business plan which will deliver significant investment in our care homes, in our colleagues, and in our culture of kindness.

Therefore, with immediate effect:

1. Sir David Behan CBE will move from Chairman to Executive Chairman;

2. John Ransford CBE will move to the role of Interim Chief Operating Officer; and

3. David Smith, Chief Financial Officer, whilst retaining his existing responsibilities will assume additional operational responsibilities.
