100 birthday candles for Uxbridge care home ResidentCelebrations were in order at HC-One’s Cedar House care home as Resident, Anne, celebrated turning 100 years of age alongside Residents and Relatives.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Hillingdon visited the home to Anne’s surprise as they chose to mark the occasion in the home alongside Residents. Musical entertainment was provided with some old favourites being played for all to enjoy and sing along to.

A buffet was also served for attendees to enjoy as Anne shared fond memories with her family, speaking of her pride at receiving a telegram from the Queen.

Patience Sibanda, home manager, commented: “We are so pleased that today has gone well, and so proud to have been a part of this special occasion."
