100th birthday celebrations at Edinburgh care homeWilma Edwards, a Resident at HC-One’s Murrayfield House care home in Edinburgh celebrated her 100th birthday on Friday 8th November with friends, family, fellow Residents and members of the team.

Everyone gathered in the lounge to help Wilma celebrate her milestone birthday, she wore a golden crown and some said she looked like the birthday queen for the day. Two delicious cakes were made for the occasion followed by a delicious buffet lunch and beverages. 

Wilma’s friends and family visited the home to share gifts and birthday wishes, everyone had a wonderful time, especially Wilma who said it was lovely to have her loved ones around for her birthday.

Murrayfield House Home Manager, Mandy Cooper said: “On behalf of everyone at Murrayfield House I would like to wish Wilma a very happy birthday, it was a pleasure to be able to celebrate with her.”
