40th birthday celebrations at Belper care home

Celebrations were in full swing at Bankwood care home in Duffield, Belper as Resident Craig celebrated his 40th birthday. 

Craig was joined by his parents and fellow Residents for his special day as he enjoyed an exciting bird show. 

Organised as a birthday treat by his mum and dad, Craig enjoyed meeting two beautiful owls, with Residents getting the opportunity to hold them and find out more about their habitat and diet. 

The party was complete with some delicious cupcakes, which were finished off with owl decorations. 

Izzie Hamza, Home Manager at Bankwood, said: “It was fantastic to see Craig celebrating his special day surrounded by family and friends. The bird show was fantastic too, as Residents loved making some new feathery friends.”
