90 birthday candles for Wigston care homeCelebrations were in full swing at Magna care home in Wigston, Leicestershire, as Resident Ted was thrown an amazing 90th birthday party.

The team at Magna decorated the home’s popular sensory room beautifully with banners, helium balloons and even photos of Spitfires, which reflect Ted’s history in the army.

Ted turned up to his party dressed in his army blazer, as he smiled from ear to ear as met his loved ones to celebrate his birthday.

The home arranged for a small buffet for Ted and his family to enjoy, consisting of sandwiches, pizza and salad, as well as a nutritious personalised birthday cake.

Ted said: “I’ve had a wonderful time in the company of my friends and family. The cake and buffet looked lovely and the food was delicious.”
