A Christmas wish is granted at Bolton care home

A Christmas wish has been granted for a Resident at Meadow Bank House care home in Bolton as Flo received a thoughtful gift from her son, Ken.

Ken approached Colleagues at Meadow Bank House, expressing his desire to put a smile on his mother’s face and say thank you for all that she does for him. 

After a recent trip to the museum, ken bought a teddy bear of a mummy, joking that it’s a ‘mummy for his mummy’. 

Ken also mentioned to Colleagues at the home that Flo loved the colour purple and tigers, so staff created and framed a picture of a purple tiger next to a photo of Ken.

When handing his mother her presents, Ken loved seeing Flo’s shocked facial expression and couldn’t stop laughing as she asked: “Wow, is that all for me?”
