A dream come true for Barry Manilow fan at Broadway care homeColleagues at Brompton House care home in Broadway made a wish come true for Resident and Barry Manilow fan Betty.

Betty claims to be the biggest Barry Manilow fan of all time and knows all of the words to his songs.

After watching a Barry Manilow show on TV, Betty inspired Colleagues’ taste in music and now often hears them singing his songs. She also often tells stories of watching Barry perform live, having watched his show at Blenheim Place with her daughter.

Staff at Brompton House were keen to bring Barry Manilow to the home and presented Betty with a cardboard cut-out of the famous singer, which made her smile from ear-to-ear.

Zoe Miller, Home Manager at Brompton House, said: “Bringing Barry to Brompton House has really made Betty’s day. We all love listening to her stories about going to see him live!”
