A festive visitor at Glasgow care home

HC-One’s Quayside care home in Yoker, Glasgow welcomed one of Santa’s reindeer's for a festive visit on Thursday 19th December.

Residents were joined by children from Yokerburn Nursery to meet on of Santa’s helpers, everyone was amazed to a see a real life reindeer waiting to meet them in the homes car park. Some enjoyed feeding the reindeer and the children were able to meet Santa and tell him what they would like to find under their tree on Christmas day.

One Resident commented: “What a lovely surprise, I’ve never seen a real reindeer before and it was a joy to see the children’s faces light up as they saw it too.”

Liz Campbell, Home Manager at Quayside said: “It was lovely for the children and our Residents to be able meet one of Santa’s reindeer's, it has filled Quayside with Christmas spirit and got everyone counting down the days.”
