A sociable afternoon as Oldham care home Residents visit gentlemen’s club

Residents at Avalon Park care home in Oldham enjoyed a visit to a local Gentlemen’s Club for the afternoon. The theme of the day was the Rugby World Cup.

The Club decided to play rugby matches throughout the afternoon where Residents were able to socialise together and watch the game. It was a great time for all to reminisce about the sport that they enjoy watching, whilst sipping on a Guinness for a treat.

It was lovely to see the Residents enjoying their day out and getting involved with what they were watching, one commented ‘Look at that kick, that boy can kick a goal!’.
