A trip through the decades for Wakefield care home ResidentsHC-One’s Carr Gate care home in Wakefield welcomed local singer, Gene Regan on Thursday 9th January for an afternoon of hits from the 50’s and 60’s.

Residents gathered in the lounge where they watched Gene perform popular songs from the 50’s and 60’s, homemade treats were served throughout and everyone enjoyed singing along with Gene to their favourite tunes.

A great time was had by all, Residents commented on what a lovely voice Gene has and thanked him for coming to perform for them.

Clare McCourt, Carr Gate Home Manager said: “Thank you to Gene for coming to Carr Gate and putting on such an entertaining performance for our Residents.”
