Aberdeen care home Residents prepare for traditional Scottish celebrationPreparations are underway at HC-One’s Hamewith Lodge care home in Aberdeen for Burns Night on Saturday 25th January.

Burns Night is a celebration of the life and poetry of Robert Burns, held on his birthday, January 25th every year.

Residents at Hamewith Lodge prepared for their Burns Night celebrations with a creative arts and crafts session, where they painted pictures to be displayed throughout the home. Everyone enjoyed chatting as they worked and complimented each other’s designs.

Susan Ashton, Hamewith Lodge Home Manager said: “Burns Night is always a highlight in the social calendar at Hamewith Lodge, it’s great to see Residents getting involved in the preparations.”
