Activity fun at Oaklands care home
Residents at HC-One’s Oaklands care home enjoyed some excitement recently as they got creative together.

To begin the excitement, everyone took part in a karaoke activity as Residents volunteered to sit and take control of the microphone, singing along to their song choices. Some Residents preferred slower songs to begin with, and all efforts of those involved, were appreciated as everyone clapped along in support.

Residents also enjoyed taking part in some puzzle activities, a favourite of many in the home. Colleagues assisted as they each looked for specific pieces to build from the outside, in.

Excitement was had by all as everyone joined in to find the right pieces to fit into the puzzle.

Stephanie Massey, home manager, commented: “Everyone has enjoyed taking part in the various activities we have held. It’s always fun to do different things and keep everyone interested.”
