Adorable duo make a visit to Cherry Willingham care home

Residents at Willow Court care home in Cherry Willingham were delighted to welcome Mungo and Glen, two adorable alpacas, to the home for an afternoon of animal therapy. 

Everyone was delighted to meet the adorable pair, as Residents had the opportunity to stroke the alpacas, feed them carrots and even get a sneaky cuddle. 

The alpacas were incredibly gentle as Residents met them, as some Residents had never even seen an alpaca before. 

The visit was part of HC-One’s commitment to Resident wellbeing, with animal therapy being a calming and relaxing experience for many people. 

Mungo and Glen’s visit was a great success. One Resident commented: “The alpacas were absolutely gorgeous, I can’t believe how soft their fur was.”
