Alpacas visit Consett care homeHC-One’s Greenways Court care home in Consett opened its doors to some unusual visitors in December when two Alpacas came to spend some time with the Residents.

Residents gathered in the lounge to meet two lovely Alpacas, everyone enjoyed giving them both lots of attention and chatting with their owner about their different characteristics and favourite treats.

The alpacas even ventured up to the first floor in the lift to meet more Residents in their bedrooms, everyone was delighted to see them and hope that they come back to visit again soon.

Tina Ayton, Home Manager at Greenways Court said: “What unusual visitors! It was lovely to welcome the alpacas into our home and we hope they come back again for more visits throughout 2020.”
