Animalistic adventure at Cardiff care home

Quarry Hall care home in Cardiff took a walk on the wild side as Residents enjoyed a visit from animal therapy company, Zoolab. 

The representative from Zoolab turned up at Quarry Hall with a whole host of creatures from the animal kingdom, including millipedes, snails, a tortoise, snake and a rat. 

Residents took it in turns to meet the animals, with some even stroking and holding them. Many people also took the opportunity to find out more about the animals’ diets, habitats and life cycles. 

The visit was a positive experience for all involved, as one Resident commented: “I can’t believe I got to see and hold so many different animals! It was amazing.”
