Armley care home Residents celebrate in style at fab-yule-ous Christmas PartyThere was Christmas cheer for all to hear as Residents were joined by their loved ones for a festive party at Amber Lodge care home in Armley, Leeds.

To kick off the festive celebrations, the choir from the local school performed a number of traditional Christmas carols, which had Residents singing and dancing along.

Kitchen staff at Amber Lodge prepared a delicious seasonal buffet for Residents and Relatives, which they tucked into along with their favourite festive tipples.

Residents were also delighted to receive a visit from the big man himself, Santa Claus, who wished everyone a very merry Christmas.

Colleagues at Amber Lodge worked hard to raise money for the Residents’ Comfort Fund, as they held a raffle, with prizes of homemade Christmas hampers.

The day was a great success with Residents, Relatives and Colleagues alike, as Irene, who lives at Amber Lodge, commented: “I love singing and dancing, I’m always singing along!”
