Arts and crafts at Dukinfield care homeResidents at The Beeches care home in Dukinfield, Tameside embraced their inner artists as they enjoyed a crafts afternoon.

Organised by Luna Craft Group, a community initiative ran by volunteers, the session saw Residents making calendars, woolly dogs, Chinese New Year clocks and wooden baskets.

The craft sessions, which have taken place over a four week period, have encouraged Residents to express their creativity through an array of bright colours and mediums.

Audrey, a Resident at The Beeches, said: “I have really enjoyed these sessions. I have been able to do every task shown to me and made some good things, the clock being my favourite.”
