Arts and crafts brighten up Residents’ day at Averill HouseA Bonfire Night themed arts and crafts session brightened up Residents’ day at Averill House care home in Newton Heath, Manchester.

Residents worked together to create the firework-inspired masterpiece, as they used paints and coloured card to complete the display.

To create the authentic effect, Residents splattered the paint across the background to reflect how fireworks light up the sky.

Featuring a bonfire and several fireworks taking off into the night sky, the final creation looked amazing and has been admired by many Relatives visiting the home.

Margaret loved helping with the artwork, as she said: “I really liked splattering the paint.”
