Arts and crafts take a festive twist at Moreton-in-Marsh care home

Residents at Oak Tree Mews care home in Moreton-in-Marsh were delighted to take part in a festive arts and crafts session together. 

As part of the home’s preparations for the Christmas period, Residents decided to make some wreaths to be displayed in the home. 

Rather than creating traditional Christmas wreaths with holly and berries, Residents decided to take a more contemporary approach and create the wreaths with red, white and burgundy pom-poms. 

Everyone loved the craft session, as they discussed memories of Christmas time growing up. 

The finished wreaths looked amazing, as they have been hung around the care home as part of Oak Tree Mews’ festive decorations. 

One Resident commented: “It has been lovely working together to make the wreaths, the session was great fun.”
