Arts and crafts take a terrifyingly good twist at Eccles care homeA spooktacular arts and crafts session went down a storm with Residents living at Barton Brook care home in Eccles, Salford as the home prepared for Halloween 2019.

Residents were joined by Sarah from creative group, Mojo Arts in the Community, as she provided guidance and creative ideas to everyone taking part.

Everyone selected their favourite colours and, with paint brushes in hand, got to work in colouring in sugar skulls, pumpkins and bats to add to the home’s Halloween-themed bunting.

While they painted, Residents enjoyed sharing memories of Halloween when they were younger, including fancy dress costumes, apple bobbing and trick or treating.

Lynn Kaye, Home Manager at Barton Brook, said: “Our Residents thoroughly enjoyed getting involved with the home’s preparations for Halloween, it was really nice to hear them sharing their experiences of Halloween growing up.”
