Baking fun at Maple LodgeResidents at HC-One’s Maple Lodge care home enjoyed an afternoon of baking as they each took part in making some biscuits.

Everyone took turns as they enjoyed rolling out the dough and using different shaped cutters for the biscuits, reminiscing about the times they would bake at home.

They spoke about the different types of baking they would do for their families and enjoyed chatting about their varying recipes.

Residents enjoyed baking and bringing back the many fond memories they had of their childhoods.

Sarah Dodd, home manager, commented: “Everyone has enjoyed themselves this afternoon, the home has smelt delicious and the Residents are looking forward to trying their masterpieces.”
