Barnard Castle care home Residents enjoy arts and crafts at Bowes Museum

Residents from HC-One’s Beaconsfield Court care home in Barnard Castle is were delighted to attend an arts and crafts group at Bowes Museum earlier in November.

Joined by Residents from other local care homes, the group from Beaconsfield Court explored their creative side with a sculpture making session before heading for a tour of the museum. 

A great time was had by all, the highlight for Residents was seeing the infamous silver swan automaton which is the icon of the museum. 

Beaconsfield Court Home Manager, Laura Langridge said: “I am so pleased that everyone had a wonderful time at Bowes Museum, it is great to see Residents socialising with other people and admiring the beautiful pieces on display in the museum.”
