Beauty therapy is a success at Wigston care homeResidents at Magna care home in Wigston enjoyed a pamper day as part of the home’s commitment to Resident wellbeing.

Ladies at Magna love having their hair washed and styled by hairdresser Sue, who visits the home every Thursday.

After having their hair done, Residents enjoy a relaxing hand massage followed by a beautiful manicure, with many looking forward to selecting their nail varnish colour each week.

Winnie said she really enjoys the pamper session and often chooses her favourite colour, red, for her nails.

Chipo Mupunga, Home Manager at Magna, said: “Beauty therapy is a popular activity amongst many Residents at Magna, as it helps them to relax and promotes mental wellbeing amongst those living at the home.

“The ladies really look forward to their pamper session each week and you can see from the smiles on their faces how much they love their makeovers.”
