Bellshill care home supports Alzheimer’s Society with Elf DayHC-One’s Hatton Lea care home in Bellshill, Lanarkshire, raised awareness and vital funds for Alzheimer’s Society by taking part in Elf Day on Friday 6th December.

Elf Day is a festive-themed fundraising day created by Alzheimer’s Society which provides a fun way to raise money for people affected by dementia by spreading some festive cheer.

Residents, team members and visitors got involved in the festivities, which included fancy dress, a raffle and guess the elf’s name. Everyone had a wonderful day raising money for a charity close to the hearts of so many whilst getting in the festive spirit.

Hatton Lea Home Manager, June Sugden said: “Thank you to Caroline York for organising our fundraiser, we managed to raise just under £200 for Alzheimer’s Society which will go towards the amazing support they provide throughout the UK.”
