Bishop Auckland care home hosts Christmas Fair for local communityHC-One’s Eden House care home in Bishop Auckland opened its doors on Saturday 30th November to get everyone in the festive spirit with a seasonal fair.

Residents and team members welcomed friends, family and the local community to celebrate the start of the festive season at the home’s annual Christmas Fair. Local businesses set up stalls to help people find the perfect gift for their loved ones as ‘We’re Music’ provided live entertainment and seasonal food and beverages were served throughout.

Some Residents enjoyed helping out with the tombola and raffle stalls while others spent quality time with family or socialised with visitors. A great time was had by all, with one Resident commenting: “It was lovely to see the home filled with Christmas cheer, what a wonderful way to kick off our festive season.”

Eden House Home Manager, Emma Wade, said: “Thank you to everyone who visited our Christmas Fair, it was a lovely day for all and we managed to raise an amazing total of £800 for the Resident’s Comfort Fund.”
