Blackburn care home Resident enjoys regular church service
David, a Resident at HC-One’s Old Gates care home, made the decision to visit the home’s local church as he was keen to join back in with worship alongside his friends at the church.

Two Colleagues escort him regularly as he attends the church for service, and afterwards enjoys tea and cakes with other members of the church.

David’s friends at the church are always excited to see him, he enjoys seeing them each week and remarked at how wonderful it was to return back to this specific church and the people there.

Helen Holden, home manager, commented: “We have loved doing this for David. It meant so much for him to be able to return to his church for service each week, and the joy it brings him is fantastic.”
