Bonfire night celebrations at Callands
HC-One’s Callands care home were excited to celebrate bonfire night on Tuesday 5th November.

The home’s catering team provided a home made hot pot, as well as hot chocolate topped with cream and marshmallows, enjoyed by all.

Residents and Relatives stood in awe as they enjoyed the many colourful fireworks, warming themselves by the fire pit and indulging in the home made food and warm beverages.

Some Residents remarked at how the fire pit reminded them of their earlier lives, celebrating bonfire night as a child with their families.

Joanne Goodwin, home manager, commented: “A wonderful night was had by all, Relatives attended and enjoyed the evening alongside their family members in the home, bringing back many happy memories.”
