Bonfire night crafts at Bridport care home

Residents at HC-One’s St. James’ Park care home got creative as they took part in craft activities and created their own Guy Fawkes figure.

Each Resident used different materials to create each part of the Guy Fawkes figure, with some using paper, and others using old clothing to dress the character.

Conversation was had by all as they reminisced of their memories of bonfire night as children, celebrating and watching the fireworks with their families.

A quiz was then enjoyed with a bonfire night theme, before everyone gathered to place the finishing touches on their figure and displayed it within the home for all to see.

Helen Ganfield, home manager, commented: “Everyone has enjoyed themselves creating a Guy Fawkes figure. Crafts are something every Resident enjoys, so it was exciting for everyone to join in.”
