Bonnyrigg care home fills with Christmas cheerA sprinkle of Christmas cheer has filled HC-One’s Springfield Bank care home on Cockpen Crescent in Bonnyrigg as Residents and team members prepare for the festive season.

To get everyone in the festive spirit, the team Springfield Bank arranged for Residents and children from a local nursery to help decorate the home and put up the Christmas tree.

Everyone sang Christmas songs and enjoyed seasonal beverages and nibbles as they transformed Springfield Bank into a winter wonderland. Residents and children shared their favourite memories of Christmas and their plans for the upcoming festive season.

Springfield Bank will open its doors once again to the local community on Wednesday 18th December for the home’s annual Christmas Fete, Residents are already looking forward to the celebrations and enjoyed decorating the home in anticipation.

Lynne Rennie, Home Manager at Springfield Bank said: “Christmas is a time when people young and old should come together to celebrate the festive season. Decorating our home has really got us counting down the days till Christmas at Springfield Bank.”
