Book-loving Resident enjoys a day out at Sherwood care home

Acacia care home in Sherwood, Nottingham, was delighted to arrange a trip out for Resident and keen bookworm Carol. 

Carol enjoyed a lovely day out to the Hyson Green Library, as she returned her currently library books on loan and selected some new ones to take home with her to read. 

After visiting the library, Carol enjoyed a delicious lunch of lasagne and salad in a local café as she discussed her favourite moments of the day. 

Carol said: “It’s been nice to have a look around the local shops and library, it’s what I used to do with my daughter.”
