Boston care home Residents enjoy winter wonderland

Residents at Elmwood House care home in Boston, Lincolnshire enjoyed a winter wonderland experience at Baytree Garden Centre in Spalding. 

After wandering around the centre looking at the festive displays and picking up gifts for their loved ones, Residents sat down for a delicious lunch in the café. Each person selected their favourite dishes on the menu before having a catch up together on their favourite parts of the day. 

The highlight of the day for many people was meeting the reindeer, which they loved stroking and learning more about their diet and habitat. 

The festive outing was a great success with all Residents and their loved ones, as Jill said: “I had a really good day” and Malcolm said: “I thoroughly enjoyed that.”
