Boston care homes unite for luxurious afternoon tea

Residents at The Gardens care home in Boston were delighted to be welcomed with open arms for a luxurious afternoon tea at neighbouring home, Elmwood House. 

The event at Elmwood House saw Residents and guests enjoying a luxurious afternoon tea, which included delicious canapes, pastries and prosecco. 

As Residents tucked in to the selection of sweet and savoury treats, entertainment commenced with a performance from a talented choir. 

Residents from both homes were keen to catch up with each other, as they also had the opportunity to meet the Mayor of Boston, Councillor Anton Dani.

The day was a great success, as Ivy, a Resident at The Gardens, said: “I couldn’t single anything out that I enjoyed the most, as I enjoyed the whole day.”
