Bradford care home takes a walk on the wild side with Zoolab visit

Residents at Knowles Court care home in Bradford enjoyed an animalistic adventure as animal therapy company, Zoolab, visited the home. 

The friendly representative from Zoolab turned up at Knowles Court with a whole host of creatures from the animal kingdom, including giant millipedes and an adorable miniature tortoise. 

Residents took it in turns to meet the animals, with some even stroking and holding them. Many people also took the opportunity to find out more about the animals’ diets, habitats and life cycles. 

Once the activity had come to an end, Residents enjoyed catching up on the day over a cup of tea and a bun, as Kathryn discussed how happy she was as she had always wanted to see a millipede in real life.
