Braintree care home enjoy festive outing

Residents at HC-One’s Larchwood care home were delighted as they went on a festive outing to the local nurseries in Poplar.

Everyone enjoyed walking around Poplar Nurseries as they admired the flowers and plants in the garden centre, commenting on the variety of colours there was to choose.

After a well deserved hot chocolate and slice of cake in the centre’s café, Residents walked through the Christmas displays, admiring the many decorations and lights, commenting on their favourite ones and how they compare to the decorations they had in their family homes.

Jade Smith, home manager, commented: “The Residents have really enjoyed themselves this afternoon, admiring the many flowers and plants, and looking through the Christmas decorations really got everyone into the festive spirit.”
