Bridgend care home is alive with the sound of music

Residents at Glanffrwd care home in Pencoed, Bridgend enjoyed an afternoon filled with singing and dancing as talented singer Kelly Hurst performed at the home. 

Kelly sang a number of all-time favourite hits from across the decades, starting at the 1940s and finishing with the 1970s. 

The performance had a special country twist, with Kelly singing songs from Doris Day and many other well-known country singers. 

As they listened to Kelly’s amazing vocals, Residents enjoyed singing, dancing and clapping along to the music. 

One Resident commented: “Kelly is such a fantastic singer, I loved joining in with the show.”
