Bright lights of Christmas at Hinckley care homeCommunity spirit was all around as Residents from Hinckley Park care home in Leicestershire admired the Christmas lights around the town.

After receiving a special invitation from the local council, Residents from Hinckley Park were invited to a special outing with other care homes in the area.

Everyone taking part in the event travelled through the town centre to take a look at the lights, before congregating at a local church for tea and mince pies.

The Salvation Army Brass Band also make an appearance, playing Christmas carols for all to enjoy, before Santa paid a visit to hand out gifts, which are put together by the local community each year.

Residents thoroughly enjoyed the outing, as it gave them the opportunity to catch up with friends across the neighbourhood.

One Resident commented: “I loved seeing the Christmas lights, I always look forward to this trip every year.”
