Bringing the fun of the carnival to Swallownest Care HomeSwallownest care home in Sheffield enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of dressing up and dancing, all themed to the vibrant colours and music of the carnival.

Nisha, a dance teacher who regularly visits the home, brought plenty of feather boas, carnival hats and masks for the Residents to get dressed up in, all ready for their dance display afternoon.

Dancing is a fantastic way to provide Residents with a great amount of exercise, as well as a way to spend the day laughing and having fun. Every Resident took part and enjoyed light refreshments to end their session.

All the Residents and staff really got into the spirit of the afternoon with one Resident commenting: ‘What a truly wonderful afternoon, I had so much fun.’
