Calendar creations at Dukinfield care homeResidents at The Beeches care home in Dukinfield were delighted to kick off 2020 with a creative crafts session, as they produced their very own desk calendars.

Assisted by Luna Creations, a local craft group consisting of volunteers who run sessions in care homes, The Beeches was delighted to host a class for Residents to enjoy.

Residents were split into groups, each assisted by a volunteer, as they began creating their masterpieces.

After selecting their materials in a selection of different colours, Residents enjoyed putting together their calendars, admiring the finished result.

Eva commented: “I have really enjoyed this morning, have you seen what I have made?”

Fellow Resident Mavis added: “I really enjoyed myself and now have something to keep.”

Edith said: “I love creating things, I have enjoyed this and am already looking forward to next week!”
