Callands care home Resident celebrates milestone birthdayResidents and Colleagues celebrated at HC-One’s Callands care home, as Resident, Mary, enjoyed turning 100 years of age.

Mary was delighted to receive her birthday card from the Queen, as the home held a celebration in her honour, complete with live entertainment and a buffet for all to enjoy.

A delicious cake was created by the home’s catering team, much to the delight of Mary and her family, as everyone sang ‘happy birthday’ to her. Elvis songs played in the background with some Residents joining in singing along, as everyone adorned their best clothing.

Joanne Goodwin, home manager, commented: “It’s been lovely to see Mary enjoy this special occasion with her family and close friends in the home.”
