Castletown care home hosts nativity playTo get everyone in the festive spirit at HC-One’s Northview Lodge care home in Castletown, Tyne and Wear, the team decided to host their very own nativity which they performed for Residents, friends and family on Friday 20th December.

Team members were cast in their roles, Home Manager Paddy Morley played Joseph, Nursing Assistant, Andrew Towers, was the Inn Keeper, Unit Managers, Sandra Dogan and Linda Ridley were Mary and the angel Gabriel. The three wise men were played by Chef, Ryan Smith, Maintenance Operative, Alan Wilson and Domestic, Tony Moon and the shepherds by Care Assistants, John Dickeson and Josh Bewick.

Home Administrator, Lisa Scott narrated the play from start to finish, Residents cheered as the different characters performed their scenes and everyone smiled as the baby Jesus was brought on to the stage.

Northview Lodge Home Manager, Patrick Morley said: “It was lovely to bring some Christmas cheer to Northview Lodge and see the smiles on Resident’s faces as we performed the nativity.”
