Celebrations are in full swing at Sherwood care home’s Halloween partyIt was all treats and no tricks as Residents at Acacia care home in Sherwood, Nottingham, enjoyed a fangtastic Halloween party.

Residents enjoyed helping to prepare the home for the occasion, as they created Halloween-themed decorations to be hung around the home.

Once the home was prepared, along with a helping hand from little Harlon visiting the home, Residents enjoyed a sing-along to a number of classic hits performed by Ami Bluebird, who dressed up as a witch especially for the party.

Kitchen staff at Acacia organised a marvellous selection of sweet treats for the party, including iced buns, cupcakes and chocolate snacks, which certainly went down well with Residents.

Georgina Jackson, Home Manager at Acacia, said: “Our Halloween party was a great success and was enjoyed by everyone living at Acacia. The home was filled with laughter and excitement as everyone had a dance together.”
