Celebrations take an autumnal twist at Coventry care homeCelebrations were in full swing at Victoria Manor care home in Whitley, Coventry as Residents took part in a Halloween and Bonfire Night party.

Colleagues and Residents wore their best Halloween attire for the party, as Residents and their loved ones carved pumpkins ahead of the big day.

Once the party was underway, Residents enjoyed singing and dancing along to an entertainer performing in the home as many tucked in to a fantastic buffet of hotdogs, burgers and jacket potatoes.

The evening was rounded off with a fantastic firework display, as Residents reminisced about celebrating Guy Fawkes Night in their childhoods.

One Resident commented: “Watching those fireworks took me back to being a child again. I used to love going back to the local bonfire show in our village.”

Another added: “I have really enjoyed the singer. I love to dance and sing, it reminds me of when I was courting my husband.”
