Charters Court care home bids farewell to ColleagueColleagues gathered at HC-One’s Charters Court care home to bid farewell to their home manager, Mel Burgess as she looks toward a change in career as a Psychotherapist.

Mel has been described as being such a well respected and popular Colleague in the home, as many of the Residents and Colleagues are sad to see her go.

Everyone in the home surprised Mel with a handmade cake as they handed her a bouquet of flowers and many presents for her to take with her, she was delighted with the surprise and thanked everyone for their kindness.

Mel commented: “I am so pleased to have worked with this wonderful team of Colleagues each day. Making the Residents happy each day has been such an important part of my job and I wish everyone the best in the future.”
