Chelmsford care home Resident celebrated 90th birthdayA Resident at HC-One’s Admirals Reach care home was delighted as she celebrated her 90th birthday with fellow Residents in the home, as well as her Relatives and friends.

Born in Tolleshunt, D’Arcy in 1930, Joyce Clark, enjoyed a life focussed around family. She met her husband Victor before extending their family to include a son and daughter, with the family now also including five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Growing up, she enjoyed hobbies such as sewing tapestries and singing a variety of music, which she still enjoys currently. She began a career as a dressmaker due to her passion for sewing, and this career carried on for many years.

To celebrate Joyce’s birthday, Colleagues in the home sang ‘happy birthday’ before presenting Joyce with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, balloons and a card.

Lal Mangalam, home manager, commented: “We hope Joyce has had a wonderful day, we have enjoyed celebrating with her and wish her a very happy birthday.”
