Children in Need celebrations at CallandsResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Callands care home were delighted as they held a fundraising event in the home in honour of Children in Need.

A variety of activities were enjoyed by all, including bingo games and prizes, as well as a raffle to win a chocolate hamper. A cake sale was also held in the home, consisting of home made cakes and hot chocolate, whilst Residents and Relatives enjoyed sitting down to sample cake and refreshing drinks together.

Altogether, the event raised around £119 for Children in Need, which the home were delighted to have made.

Jackie O’Callaghan, home manager, commented: “Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed themselves today. A wonderful sum was raised for such an amazing cause.”
