Christmas carols at Mossley care homeChristmas celebrations were in full swing at Sandon care home in Mossley as Residents enjoyed a performance of traditional carols from Milton Primary School.

The show, which took place on Christmas Jumper Day, saw everyone wearing their best festive attire as Residents and their loved ones joined in with singing the Christmas carols.

Once the performance came to an end, Residents joined the children with for snacks and refreshments as they shared memories of Christmas time growing up.

Sandon was delighted to have raised £15 for Save the Children at the event, as part of Christmas Jumper Day 2019.

The day was a great success, as Resident Mary said: “What a joy it was to see the children, it’s such a special time when they visit.”
