Christmas celebrations at Sheffield care homeAlexander Court care home in Sheffield was delighted to welcome family and friends from the local community to join Residents at the home’s Christmas party.

Celebrations were in full swing as everyone sang and danced along to music performed by talented entertainer, Paul Barrie, as many people dressed head to toe in festive attire.

Residents enjoyed a festive feast consisting of many sweet and savoury treats, complete with a glass of mulled wine.

The evening continued with a visit from the St Thomas Church choir, who performed a number of traditional Christmas carols for Residents to sing along to, and even made special performances for Residents who were unable to leave their rooms.

The party was a great success with all who attended, as Resident Ann said: “Thank you for the party” and Keith commented: “I loved being Santa, it was a brilliant party.”
