Christmas celebrations at Sherwood care home

Christmas was all around at Acacia care home in Sherwood, Nottingham as Residents enjoyed a fun-filled festive fayre. 

To help get into the Christmas spirit, Residents and Colleagues put on their Santa hats and shared memories with loved ones about how the festive period has changed since they were little. 

Talented entertainer, Jane Darling, performed a number of traditional Christmas carols at the home, as Residents sang and danced along. 

The afternoon was rounded off with a tombola and raffle, as guests eagerly waited to see if they had drawn lucky numbers. 

One Resident commented: “I loved seeing everyone in their Christmas outfits, I had a great time.”
