Christmas cheer at Bannockburn care home

Seasonal celebrations were in full swing at HC-One’s Fairview care home in Bannockburn throughout December as Residents and team members enjoyed a busy festive calendar in the run up to Christmas.

Residents welcomed friends, family and members of the local community throughout the festive season for a variety of Christmas-themed celebrations and activities. The home raised just under £200 for the Resident’s Comfort Fund with a festive raffle of delicious Christmas hamper.

One Resident commented that they thought it would be sad spending their first Christmas away from their family home, but the team went out of their way to make it a very special and joyous festive period. 

Elaine McCulloch, Home Manager at Fairview said: “Christmas evokes so many special memories for our Residents and we strive to make the day as special as possible. 

“Fairview is their home and the day should be as special as any other Christmas they have celebrated.”
