Christmas cheer for all to hear at Eckington care homeThere was Christmas cheer for all to hear at April Park care home in Eckington as Residents welcomed the Ridgeway Girl Guides group for a carol singing performance.

Residents at April Park enjoyed the sound of some festive favourites, including O Little Town of Bethlehem and Little Donkey, as many people sang and danced along.

Members of the audience enjoyed a lovely warm beverage as they watched the performance, which brought a tear to the eye of many people watching.

Once the performance had come to an end, Residents were surprised with a lovely handmade gift from the guides for each person living in the home.

One Resident commented: “The singing was great, I can’t wait to see them again next year. I loved my gift too.”
